Dear Readers:
I’ve been writing for much of my life; it’s my creative outlet. It’s the space I use to share my thoughts, reflections and feelings.
From time to time, I will include provocative language or concepts in my writings. How come? My family might say it’s because that’s just who I am, and they might be right. Also, I believe that provocation only exists because of some value, or meaning, we placed on a certain sequence of letters (after all, isn’t that what a word is?) or ideas. These values come from beliefs we hold about right/wrong, appropriate/inappropriate, acceptable/not acceptable, etc. To be clear, I also attach meaning to words and concepts and I sure do have my own hot buttons! Your hot buttons and my hot buttons are likely not the same.
Some of my best learning has come from those times when I’ve been stopped in my tracks because my values have been challenged or questioned. These are the times that I’ve made the biggest shifts towards emotional freedom.
My goal with these posts is that something I’ve shared will resonate with you, spark you, inspire you; that you will take away a gem or two to share with others.
